What to Contribute

If you would like to contribute metadata to help shape MDMP’s parameters as we finish its construction and before we launch, please feel free to do so here. In MDMP’s early stages, any information that can help to document the physical or intellectual migration of a particular female pedagogue, her curriculum, or her university service and administration is useful information, and it can be found in multiple forms.

Why Contribute

One of MDMP’s principal goals is to make veteran and novice researchers (and their source materials) more visible to one another for collaborative work. All contributions are considered descriptive metadata and will be licensed under the Creative Commons BY-NC-SA 3.0 License, allowing the metadata from individual text records to be exported and used non-commercially by other sources.

File Formats

Alongside our Contribution Form below, you can also submit small or large data sets as e-mail attachments to tgraban@fsu.edu in the following formats:

  • .doc or .docx
  • .rtf
  • .xls or xlsx
  • .html
  • .txt or comma-delineated

In the e-mail accompanying your files, please include your institutional or professional affiliations so that we can attribute your contributions, and include that information as descriptive metadata, making it a part of the historical ecologies that other researchers will query or search. If data sets are too large to send via e-mail, please contact us and we will arrange for Dropbox sharing. Alternatively, you may create a metadata record by entering information directly into our Contribution Form.

Please direct any questions about contributing to tgraban@fsu.edu. We welcome and rely on your contributions.
